993 wheels - what's the largest I can mount?

I have 993 stock wheels, 16". 9J and 7J. What is the widest tire size I can mount on front, and on rear? Currently 205 in front, 245 rear.

The tires you have now are just about the widest for the wheels. If you can find a 225 for the front, that would work but ideally, you'd want a 7.5" wheel for it.

Dump the wheels, move up to 18" and get 225's and 265's. Unless you have widebody then go 285's.
