Question Wheels for a turbo: what would you do?

The hollow-spokes on my 1996, arena red turbo got banged-up in an accident, and the ins company is willing to credit me for $2100 (refurbed set from Wheel Enhancements). I really, really want 3-piece modulars with a gold center. Here are my choices, along with prices including either sales tax or shipping, depending upon where I get them:

Kinesis K28R (reverse rim): $4720
Kinesis K28 : $4070
iForged (reverse rim) : $3030

I like the looks of the reverse rim, but wonder if it REALLY makes a $650 difference, once mounted on the car. I like the idea of a name brand like Kinesis, but also like saving almost $1700, which smells a lot like a pair of bigger turbos someday.

Please, what would you do? Your thoughts? Help me.

I left you a post about Iforged in the 993TT forum, i'd look at it before making a decision.

Steve:

I'd go with iForged but then again, I was the one who told you about iForged.

I would go with the lightest of the two. If comparable weight then the cheapest <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

I've decided to go with the Kinesis K28 (not K28R) with gold-painted centers. I think they will look great on my car, and besides, my kids don't really need that college education. My car is STILL in the body shop (they keep getting banged-up or incorrect fenders from the dealer... the last one was a euro fender; cool, but I'd want both to match). I'm going nuts with the waiting. Luckily, the Cobra, while not a Porsche by any means, is still a hoot to drive.
