What's the "A" in S02-A?

It looks like the tread pattern was changed in the "A" version.

The S-02A was primarily developed as an OEM tire and is a HUGE improvement over the S-02. It is being supplied for the Ferrari 360 and the Porsche Carrera cars at this time. The tread pattern is quite different from the S-02's and it appears that Bridgestone modeled the S-03 after it.
