Post What's the "A" in S02-A?

Just got my 996 w/ 18" Carrera's, fitted w/
S02-A's. Does anyone know the difference between
an S02 and an S02-A?
Thx,
DT

There's some information in this thread:

<a href="http://forums.rennlist.com/cgi-bin/rennforums/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=3;t=006177;p=2" target="_blank">http://forums.rennlist.com/cgi-bin/rennforums/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=3;t=006177;p=2</a>

It looks like the tread pattern was changed in the "A" version.

Thanks, Jeff. Couldn't find any info on Tire Rack's website.
Cheers,

The S-02A was primarily developed as an OEM tire and is a HUGE improvement over the S-02. It is being supplied for the Ferrari 360 and the Porsche Carrera cars at this time. The tread pattern is quite different from the S-02's and it appears that Bridgestone modeled the S-03 after it.
