Wheel spacer trade???
Hey everyone,
I've ended up with a pair or factory 21mm spacers, that I was going to use for late offset wheels. What I need are (4) 10mm spacers.
The HRE's I bought fit except for the fact that the bearing cap pushes out the center cap a few mm and I'm worried that I might lose one while driving because they don't push all the way in.
So anyone want to trade (2) 21mm spacers for (4) 10mm (or so) spacers?
TIA
Jason

Huh? Won't 10mm spacers cause the hub-cap to protrude out of the center of the wheel even more?
Take the hub-cap off and use a hammer to dent in the center. If the centercaps on your wheels are spring-loaded, there may be some legs that hold the spring. You can usually grind off about 1mm off the tip of these legs to get some extra clearance.
