Wheel balancing problems?

Hello all,
I'm only new here. So excuss me if I'm not aware of your needs.
Do you guys ever experience ride disturbance or wheel balance problems that are difficult to fix?
Have a fair amount of experience in the field, so if I can help, drop me a line.

Yeah, our cars seem to be very sensitive to wheel-balance. One way to take care of this is to balance with the wheels mounted on the car. This will take into account the brake-disc, the hub and the lug-nuts. Not all shops have this kind of balancing equipment, so call around. You'll be amazed at the results! :)

Hey Danno,
Did you know that those Finish / On-Car balancers only measure Static Imbalance!
For those that don't understand, Static imbalance is where the extra weight is close to the center of the wheel and causes a vertical shaking motion. Static balance is just what the word implies - no movement. Simply put, Static = Bounce = Tyre skip on road.
On-Car Balancers correct static balance and cannot correct dynamic imbalance.

Just a heads up fyi,
Cheers,
Stuart
