Default Price Check MY'02 "Anniversary" (polished) 18's

These are the usual MY'02 Carrera design; but factory polished and put on the 2004 Anniversary Carreras. Aside from being manufactured for a single year, I dont think there is anything else special about them.

Do people still pay premiums for these wheels? Previous owner mounted them and I was astonished at the invoice in the service records...

Any experience with these?

There was a set on ebay little over a year ago, sold for $1100 with good tires.

Really thought they would go for more

Interesting. I'd figure that to be about right.

PO paid $4,000. Thought he was nuts when I saw the documentation - from eBay no less. Could have bought RS Speedlines for that much.

Thanks.

$4000 is overpriced.

Often on eBay for $1100 to $1200.

Tons of folks trying to sell wheels now(the economy I'd guess?), competition will bring prices down. Most factory wheel sets 18" seem to be fetching less than $1k, often with good tires. These would command a bit more so the $1100-$1200 range seems appropriate.
