Those are going to be tough to find. We have not carried that wheel in probably 5 years and MM has gone out of business....good luck.

Thanks Damon. That was my understanding as well.

Do you know of any other company that made an 18" Cup 2 wheel? I don't want to narrow my focus if there are others more readily available.

I like the look of the Cup 2 and the lower profile used on the 18's. Also, MM had the 10" width I was looking for to run on the rear of my car.

I can run an OEM 17x9 Cup 2, but it's a compromise. Acceptable, but still a compromise.

Thanks again. :bigbye:

Ebay will be the only game in town for finding those wheels, I've seen sets come up twice in the last few years. I've always wanted them, Chris Lockhart had them on his GT years ago. You'd hope that a new replica wheel manufacturer would make them but I suppose they are selling their "newer" Porsche replicas and maybe not that much call for an "older" style replica wheel.

Thanks Matt. I forgot about Chris Lockharts car having them. His car is now in Texas, I saw it at a DFW get-together last December. IIRC, it had Club Sports or D90s on it at the time. Perhaps the new owner still has the Mille Miglias laying around...

would these fit without spacers?

Hi, looking at the fitment of these 18" cup 2 replicas on my '89 S4. Would they fit without spacers.
Front: 18x8.5 5x130 ET52 with 225/40R18 tires
Rear: 18x10 5x130 ET47 with 285/30R18 tires

Thanks

Should fit, although the front offsets are not optimal for our cars and the rears may require you to roll the fender lip like the factory did on the 89-91 GT model.

I found a set not long after my original post. My fronts are unused as I bought a pair of factory OE Cup II's in 17x9 ET 70 which work much better, on which I mounted 255/40/17s. My 18x10 replica rears have 285/35/18s with about 1/4" clearance (GT rolled fender lip)

Found a set on sale in Seattle area for $550, but the seller won't ship. Looks like a great price for someone interested in these in pacific nw. Bummer.

Btw, Jarrod, your car and wheels look awesome!

Thanks, Hoi!

I've always liked the look of the Cup II, especially the 18" replica version. They just "work" on the 928 really well. That said, the Mille Miglia replicas leave a lot to be desired, IMO. They're heavy and bend/crack easily, something I've dealt with and I know of others who have, too. I'm hopeful that Jim Doerr of 928 Classics will create a quality Cup II replica along the lines of the amazing 18" phone dial replica he's currently working on. I periodically encourage him to do so, but he has to finish the phone dial project and recoup that investment first - it may be a while.
