Looking at some Enkei wheels. Anyone have them?
 

I have a friend who has a set of the NTO3-M's and they look well made, have a good reputation, are light, and very good value. I'm not sure what range of offsets they have though? My current wheels are 18" with 9"/ 51et f and 10"/60et r. Damon, I sent you an email via Rennlist although I'm not sure if you get these?

Here is a link to those wheels with the available sizes and offsets. In another post someone said RS Barn has them for $1375.

Actually you don't really take that much notice of the 'ring' when you see them. They do look good in person.

I have a set and I truly like them. I have:

18" x 8-1/2" x 50 Front
18" x 10" x 60 Back

The ring can be a pain if you are trailering your car and you are using the wheel to tie it down. The solution i am using is a strap with a D ring back to a ratchet. Depending on your perspective I happen to like the looks of the ring.

Wish they made them in 17's (17x8.5 or 9 would be great). Any good options in that size?

What size and offset do you have, and also do you have any body modifications to allow for different sized wheels.

55 offset, same as 993. 18x8.5 up front and 18x9 rear. No body mods needed, the fit is perfect even with the car being quite low. However its a track car only, street driven the results could vary depending on the alignment and camber set up

Hmm, I'm going to try and squeeze the 9.5" on the front and put the 10" on the rear. I've got 9's and 10's already so it may be ok. It will just work with the BFG R1s better 265 & 285 have the same rolling radius. What tyres do you use? Are you a strong believer in doing the Heat cycling? Do you think the heat cycling that the vendors offer is worth it?

I run the Hoosier R6, most guys i race with agree that 265 is a bit big for the car up front, IE it may slow you down. Also the class we run in restrict wheel size to 8.5 and 9.5. I wasn't aware that they even made a 10 in that wheel. I can get between 15-18 heat cycles out of the tires. I really depends on how many enduro races i'm in.

Yeah I just wanted to get the stagger down to a minimum and also keep the rolling radius as close as possible. What size R6's do you have on those wheels. Thanks for your answers as well.

That's quite a big stagger. Do you have any issues with understeer? I guess you can dial it out as best as possible. What sort of hp/tq are you running in your class? These will be on my road/track car that will be in the 500whp/tq region.
