BDH: DE 996 C2 tire pressure
(BDH - Beating Dead Horse)
so i read through dozens of thread on this board and it sounds like the overall consensus is:
1. try to keep rear and front within 2psi or same psi
2. try to keep rear and front around 38-40 hot (measuring right after exiting track)
my car: 2003 996 C2 Cab with ROW M030 suspension and 18" 5-spoke classics. tires are Michelin Sport.
current tire pressure: 35 front / 37 rear
planning for: PCA GGR 3 day Thunderhill DE event (anybody else going?) this weekend.
am i correct on points 1 and 2?

I run 35 front, 44 rear, cold, for street.
For autocross (60-90 second runs, ~5 minutes between runs), I target 33 front, 40 rear, hot.
I don't think there is a consensus, and I think it definitely varies by tire size, tire model, driving style, surface conditions, and weather. I've tried a variety of settings, and I'm happy with what I run, and I do well with it. But I just changed tire size and model, so I'm experimenting again to confirm I still like these settings.
Have a blast at the track, that sounds like a lot of fun!
