Default V710 Fittiment Question for 911SC

Is anyone running the 265/45/16 V710 on a 16X8 Fuchs in the rear of their Carrera/SC for autox? I am considering running 225s on the 7" fronts and 265 on the 8" rears. I have approx -2.5 camber per side in the rear.

I ran them 225 square a couple of seasons ago, and that was less than ideal. I know there is a 245/16 coming, but who the heck knows when...

Is this a question of Physical fitment of tire? I last ran 245-45s on my 9" fuchs. A 265 is about 20mm wider (3/4 inch?) I certainly would have had room. Heck, with the 9s and 245s I could run a 1/4" spacer and had at least a fingers width of room to both the inside and outside of the fender. I am not sure how "flat" a 265 will sit on an 8 though. Gussing a large sidewall buldge. Plus the potential negative effect on gearing vs your 225/245 sizes previously used. What about Hoosier sizes? Do they no longer make a 245-45-16?

I've run the 225/245 combo in the Hoosiers..it works, but the V710 is a much longer lasting tire. The 245 according to TR won't be arriving until the fall. UUrrggghhh!

My guess is that the 265 on an 8 will work fine, but will be a litte tight with the rear wheel lips with the 911 8" offset. Looks like Hoosiers again...
