Default New from the Tire Rack - A Tire Rack!

We are happy to announce the addition of the Tire Storage Rack to our line-up of wheel and tire storage solutions. This heavy duty, adjustable storage rack was designed to provide a convenient and safe method for tire and wheel storage. The wall mounting plate quickly attaches to wall studs via lag bolts, the adjustable rack portion is assembled with just 6 fasteners and provides up to 400 lbs of capacity. Perfect for garage or basement storage. We have tested products from 185/60r14 (23" OD) up to 315/70r17 (34.5" OD) and they fit fine with just a few quick adjustments of the outer brackets and support rods to properly position the tires. The tires do not touch the wall. Adjustable to a max inside width of 52"
Price is just $129.

I like that a lot. The one I bought for my trailer was $400 and not nearly as nice. I might have to pick a few of these up now that I will have 3 sets of wheels for the 993.

Nice! My Griot's hangers only hold two wheels and the don't mount as securely, either. You know we have the earth shaking out here in California, sometimes.

What do you think of using these in an enclosed trailer?

You'd need some kind of rod down the middle attached to rack to hold them in place while in motion. While that would probably work, a rack made specifically for a trailer would be better. I just got one (in aluminum) that would hold 4 tires for not much more. I believe it was from pitproducts.

Lousy picture, but it is right above my son's head...
