Default Pirellis PZero System on a BoxS, Assimetrico or Direzionale fronts?

I posted this in the boxster forum but didn't get a response, so I figured I'd ask here

I've got a good, nearly new pair of rear Assimetrico P Zero Systems, and a pair of fronts that needs to be replaced

I'm only planning on getting this year out of them, if the rears need replacing at the end of the year I'll buy all 4 at once

it rains here in New England, and I drive the car in the rain (gasp!)

the car also won't be tracked this year

oh, and they're 18's and was planning on standard size 225/40/18

thanks!

Tom

1 more weird thing, the tires I have are N3 but on TireRack I can't find any N rated Pirellis in my size, which makes me thing I may have the tire wrong even though the tread pattern is definately the "System"

You will want to run assimetricos front and rear. Direzionales were only for the Boxsters with 16" and 17" rims. Tirerack has the N3s in 225/40/18 but for some reason it's not listed as such on their site. You might want to call them when placing the order just to confirm you need the Porshce spec version.

thanks Jamie, that helps a bunch, I wouldn't have though to call them about the tire since it's not on their page

I have a set of PZero Rossos for 18" wheels for sale off the Boxster I just bought--$550 for the set--see tires and wheels. Rears are new, fronts 75%,your sizes. I'm going all-season. Good for you if you haven't bought yet.
