Default Question about 19" street/track tires

Hi-

I have a 996 TTX-50 with 19" wheels. I can't afford 18" wheels, although I loved the 18" Toyo Proxes R compound street tires on my RS America.

It has been suggested that I buy Michelin Pilot Sport tires - the car currently has Potenza S03s.

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance - Gerry

Default Michelin PS2

Michelin offers 19" tires in the Pilot Sport and Pilot Sport PS2. I don't think that they have typical Porsche sizes in 19" for the Pilot Sport as they do in the Pilot Sport PS2. I have used the Pilot Sport for DE events. They are predictable and especially nice if the track is wet. The PS2 tires are on some of the newer high performance tires including the GT3. I haven't had them on the track yet, but in spirited driving, they seem to be very nice.

Michelin also has the Pilot Sport Cup at 235/35/19 and 26/30/19
