Do sticky tyres affect fuel MPG?
Just out of curiousity. I know the theory that thinner tyres decrease rolling resistances and thus increase fuel economy, but what about tyre compound?
I have A032R's on my 87, and getting 10MPG, although I suspect it's because of the old o2 sensor and fuel injectors, I still think the tyres are sacking the MPG as well.
thoughts?

I'm running Toyo RA-1s on the street (in S sizes: 225F & 245R) and still average the exact same MPG as when I had Kumho 712s (17-18MPG). Tire compound is not going to affect MPG very much at all if any, I'd definitely say you need to try changing your O2 to start.
