Has anyone ever tried the following tire / wheel combo?

Kuhmo Victoracers:
6 inch by 16 Fuch with 225*50
7 inch by 16 Fuch with 245*45

Tirerack tells me this might be possible but will most likely be a tough mount on the rear. I want to use these as my race rain tires as I have had good luck with them when they have enough tread.

Yes, you can probaly cram them on, but I think you're trying to go one size too large on each wheel. Check the Victoracer spec page on tirerack's website. I have run Victoracers for several years and like them, but I do not go out on the track in the rain with them. In the wet, narrow is better than wide. I would not go larger than 205 and 225 for those wheels.

They will fit but as DER951 said, they are not ideal....
