Question Any Experience with 7 & 9's on a 968/944?

Does anyone out there have any experience running 17 x 7 inch front wheels on a 968? I'm buying a set and have been looking for a set with 7.5 inch fronts, but am curious as to the negatives of just keeping the 7's. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

My street set of tires are 7" in front and 9" in the rear. They are fine for the street...however they understeer pretty badly at the track. I only took them to the track once and managed to chunk the front tires pretty bad...the rears were fine.

8's and 9's are a better choice if you ask me (at least for the track). with the 7's up front, the most tire you can take is a 235. On 8's, you can run a 245 or 255 whick will dial out a TON of understeer that you're going to get with the 235's on the 7 inch rims..
