Default NT01 sitting for awhile

Any idea why these appear a bit bluish? Maybe it's unrelated to sitting but I don't recall seeing the blue after my last track day a couple years ago.

They have been sitting, but in a garage that probably doesn't hit freezing, and of course they've not been driven when cold. Just I haven't had many track events the last couple years.

I used to see that a lot with NT01s. They always came back once I got them hot again, even after sitting for over a year.

The blue hue is likely due to a phenomenon called "blooming." It happens when the tire compound's oils rise to the surface during periods of inactivity. No need to worry, though – it's generally harmless and should disappear once you start driving and the tires heat up.
