Default Does this tire look done to you?

This is my right front tire, a Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport on a 992 GT3. This was my third track day on these tires (I only drive ~80%) and I was at Laguna Seca today. After my 2nd session, the shoulder of this tire started to peel as in the picture (though not around the entire wheel, maybe 70%?). I spoke to the tire guy at the track and he said this tire was pretty much ready to expose the cords, and that if I intended to drive my car home (which I did), I shouldn’t do another session. Let me know what y’all think. Thanks.

Yes that tire needs to come off before your next track day.

Thank you. I guess the Goodyear Supersports are not good at all for the track. I had the Pirellis on previously (which came with the car) and I did 5 track days with still some wear left. Pretty gutted as I was supposed to do Laguna for 2 days
