Default Volk Wheels

Anyone have any experience running on Volk Wheels? If so, what are your thought and are they as light as everyone says?

Yes, I know a few people who have Volk on their cars. Not a Porsche, but Volkswagens, Acuras, etc. They swear by them, especially their light weight. I have always looked at the TE37 for my previous Porsche but never found a good fit and a good source. Other than that, I don't know much.

TE37 is a great wheel, I have had a few sets on my RX-7s from time to time. They really are that light and very strong. They are made for Porsches (I will have to find the link) but they can be very limiting in size.

On my neighbor's C4S, I personally think the look is very aggressive...

Those that swear by these wheels do so for good reason, they're lightweight, strong and best of all, fairly cheap compared to other wheels out there that offer the same features.

karim, whoever you've inquired from is misinformed. There is a 993 running around here with bronze Volks, the car is a white Carrera4S with turboS foglight ducts and really dark tint. The car has a very aggressive "japanese tuner" look to it and sits very low, I love the way it looks.

Have you tried Overboost? They apparently sell some Volk wheels which fit the 993.

Bolt patterns are the same for the 993 and 996.

I was at F1 Motorsports in N. Hollywood the other day. They can get the TE37s to fit a 993 widebody. ( i never asked about a 65mm offset for the standard body) He did not have the Porsche fitment in stock, but said he could get them in a hurry. Only finish available in the 5x130 Porsche fitment is bronze, as in the picture Amir posted.
F1 quoted a price that was about $100 less per wheel than I had seen elsewhere.
The name of the fellow I talked to was Alex. 818 755 9800

not affiliated, etc. etc.

cheers,

Volk also makes a titanium wheel at about 8-lbs apiece.
