911sc coupe lowered, having a wheel scrub problem (told my offset is off) and considering new wheels.
I had thought about 18' but was told it would drive like it's on wooden wheels (harsh). What have others found with the 18's, what width, and what offset is best for the 1982 911?

I desired a more modern look, I can't decide if new replicas are the best way or find take-offs and get spacers.
Any help appreciated, I have been reading and searching as possible but it seems there are so many variables.
