Bridgestone S02

Bridgestone S02
have found new Bridgestone S02 Potenza N3 rated in 205/55/16 and 225/50/16 at a online store called www.dackservice.nu. They cost just $160 each including delivery in Sweden. The local Porsche centre will charge $350, but would recommend Michelin Pilot instead. I prefer the S02. Could there be anything wrong with the Bridgestones like old tires or wrong country specifications. Is there any specific number or code to check.

The N-Spec tires are still produced currently so you should not have a problem with that. They also have a date code. The last three of the DOT (likely four now depending on age) are the date code for example
W2HL1PM4301 (4301 indicates the 34rd week of 2001) as the manufacturing date.
