Not yet but soon
My my friend is the new distributor in Texas and a seasoned professional racer. He says they are 2 seconds faster than the toyo’s I am ordering a set of track tires and street tires so I’ll keep y’all posted. First I have to find some OEM size wheels for the track tires.

Three Wheelin'
Mounted AR-1 and ready to go, first track day may be mid Oct at COTA but depends on weather. Don't track when temperature is in the 90's. Otherwise it will be in November.
Who is the distributor in Houston?
Discount sells Nankang but not the AR-1. I purchased mine from Phil's Tire Service.

I have been running AR1 in AX events. Very similar to r888 but seems to get up to temp faster than the Toyo. They are very heavy tire with very firm sidewall. They are noisy as heck - like Toyo 888. Great thing is that they come in 20 inch sizes for newer cars. Their strength is braking - they dig in hard under heavy braking. Fairly affordable. I bought mine from Phils https://philstireservice.com/
