Anyone want 2 8/16 late Phone Dials
I am building a 944S SCCA race car. It has late offset 8 and 7 by 16 Phone Dials. The wheels are in great shape. In SCCA, I can only run 7 x 16 all way round. I would like to trade the the 8 x 16's with center caps for 2 7 x 16 late offset Phone Dials, and get $200 to boot. (its a good deal, believe me) On the 7's I want, they don't have to be in good cosmetic shape, just straight and true. Best way to contact me is BillLSeifert@aol.com
If you are running PCA Club Racing or DE's, 8's all round are great. When I ran PCA class I, I ran 8 x 15 Fuchs at all corners, and it improved my lap times by about one second per lap, at most tracks. If you run big tires on the 8's in the front, you may have to roll the front fender to keep it from rubbing, but most of the fast guys with 944's run either 8's all round or 8 fronts and 9 rears.
