Default A tire got mounted inside out

One of my tires got mounted inside out by disount tire in Kirkland, WA. It has been 6 month already (around 4k miles) and somehow I just found that out. Would this situation cause any mechanical issues? I will stop by there tomorrow. My tires are the Pirelli P zero non runflat. Thanks for your help!

I originally thought you meant the tire was actually inverted on itself. As in the tread was somehow on the inside. I thought, "no way, that can't be possible!" Anyway,

Wouldn't be any mechanical issues, other than perhaps premature wear on the tire and of course any changes in the tire's grip or responsiveness.

I'll lot an expert chime in (TireRack rep frequents this forum), but I suspect inside/outside probably distinguishes sidewall stiffness, compounds, and any related tread design.

I'm no expert, but I track my car and myself and others I know swap tires inside out for durability and I've not had an issue, and I don't know of anyone who has. In wet conditions, it may be a problem.
