Default PSC2 ZP with shallow tread groove

Looking for some guidance regarding how to measure tread wear on PSC2.

Discount tire won't service my new PSC2 ZP that has 30 gentle miles on it and a nail in the center of the tread. I'd like them to honor the warranty I purchased.

They are measuring the shallow circumferential groove, not either of the two deep grooves. They are saying the tire is too worn and is not serviceable.

When I google PSC2 images, the PSC2 ZPs look like my 335s with 2 deep grooves and one shallow groove. The regular PSC2 have 3 deep grooves.

Michelin tech support says all of the grooves are the same depth. I asked her if she has ever seen the tires or has a photo and she said no. I asked if maybe I should run Pirelli and she really didn't care.

Discount tire called Michelin as well and got the same answer.

I think Michelin should inform Discount Tire how to measure tire wear, but if Michelin doesn't know, then that's a problem.

Ideas?

Find a mom and pop tire shop that will patch a tire regardless of age or tread depth, just make sure they have equipment for mounting on your wheel size.
Most places only charge $10-$20 for a dismount, patch, and rebalance. Annoying that Discount won't honor their warranty, but your story is pretty common with my experiences at other mainstream tire stores.

I called Michelin again today and got concurrence that the PSC2 ZP has two 5.7mm deep grooves and one very shallow groove while the PSC2 non-ZP has three deep grooves.

Going back to discount tire today to plead my case. I just want them to service the tire.

Thanks again for the tip above. Will talk to Wheel Specialists in Tempe to see if they can service it.
