Anyone with 2018/2019 Carrera T looking for wider Wheel/Tires yet?
Im taking delivery of 2019 Carrera T with Rear wheel steer in Dec. What are people able to get under fenders of 991.2 narrow body Carerra T with rear wheel steer? Can I fit 19's under this car? Was thinking 19x12 and 19x9 for wheels. Unsure what size tires I can get under Carrera Ts fenders while clearing rear wheel steer. Are there some easy buttons in terms of wheels that are spec'd with offsets that wont require spacers etc? Just looking for reasonable lightweight decent looking wheels that I can use as my ax and track setup. Mostly AX so want some tire under the car as opposed to optimizing weight for track driving. Can I get 325 A7 under rear and maybe a 285 under front without rubbing or do I need to settle on 265 front and maybe stockish 305 rear? Im new to these cars so any insights and links to well setup 991.2 cars appreciated.

It's a bit soon to know the answers until we get a hold of the cars and measure them. I doubt the car will differ much (if at all) from prior RWS cars. That said, 265/325 is about the widest you can expect to get under there without cutting up the car and/or changing suspension components - and even then 325 is pushing it on a very square race tire. We have not had much luck with 19's on the RWS cars - the back suspension hits the wheel barrels on the wheels we offer.
