Jackpoint alternatives?

I would like to buy some Jackpoint stands but everytime I go their online store they are out of stock. I’ve given up. What are alternatives to Jackpoint that you are using?

You should be able to join the waitlist and will probably get the call in 6wks or so (at least that was my experience)

for me worth the wait.. they are awesome

How much work do you want to put into getting the car up in the air? The Jackpoint setup is great in that you can just jack up each corner and drop it on a stand. Anything else is going to require more parts and extra work. I went the route of more parts and work.

Esco flat top jack stands
Rennline front tie downs (provides a flat surface at front jack point for the stand)
Rennline jack pads
Fabspeed rear jack point

Install jack pads on rear jack points. Jack up one side from the rear jack point/pad and place jack stand under front. Jack up other side rear and install jack stand under front. Jack up rear from center jack point and install both rear jack stands under the jack points/pads.

The advantage I have is that my jack stands are height adjustable and can be used on my tow vehicle. I don't think the Jackpoint stands are tall enough, so you'd end up buying another set of jack stands if you were ever to do work on a taller vehicle.

+1. I got on the waiting list and it took several months. But worth the wait in the end.

Thanks. Jackpoint says they are about 4 months backlogged.

Why not go the route of quickjack? I know a few people with 991's that use them and extremely convenient, even when wanting to load them in a truck or trailer.

ECS tuning carries them and multiple other places.

yeah, that is exactly what I am going to do. Jackpoint got back to me on the backlog, said they are working through it. Very nice guy. The problem was shipping costs, which to me (SF Bay Area) were pretty steep, which made 4 Jackpoints come in at a few hundred dollars less than a Quickjack. It's kind of a no-brainer, I'm getting a Quickjack
