Default Looking for better tires

Hi Rennlisters. I take my car about 10 to 12 days a year. I am in the solo intermediate groups. I drive a 991 C2S. The car came with 20s. For the track I have a set of MPSS 245/40/19 and 295/35/19 on 8.5in and 11in OZ Ultrus. I am getting a lot of push going through some corners. I would like to go down to a 200 or 100 compound tire. Need some recommendations as to make and how much tire (size) I can stuff in the wheel wells. Suspension is stock. Thanks for all the help.
PS there are budget considerations.

Size isn't everything. Compound is. I'd go back to 235/295 and run Pilot Sport Cup 2's, or 235/305 RE-71R's. The Bridgestone's are a bit better priced and have a $70 rebate through 5/7.

I have the Bridgestone in stock, and am hoping to have the rear Michelins next week.

Please call me to order or use my signature link to order. Thanks.

235/35R19 BS POZ RE-71R XL 265.45
305/30R19 BS POZ RE-71R XL 342.15

235/35R19 MI PILOT SPT CUP 2 349.65
295/30R19 MI PILOT SPT CUP 2 393.95

The CUP2's were amazing on my 991C2s. At least a couple seconds on most tracks and a lot more sense of security...with much less tire screaming.

Is BRIDGESTONE headed to releases RE-71R tires for the 991.1 S Carrera? I love those tires but I can't get the right size for 20" rims.

I don't know when/if the 305 will be built, but you can do the 295/20 20 now. All we need now is for them to put the 245 back into production. Please call me if you would like to backorder.
