Default Need help identifying a Porsche wheel

Purchased these wheels last week from a local Porsche guy that had them on a 996 cab. I originally thought they might be CCW SP510, but the barrel design and valve stem location doesn't seem to match those. They appear to be single piece forged wheels, the 19x10 on the bathroom scale weighs in just under 26lbs. They're 19x8.5 Et46 and 19x10 ET54 Center caps are Boothe, but I assume those were just added after. They are stamped with APP 0401 and APP 0101. The only thing that google brings up are APP Tech who make forged wheels for some OEM's and aftermarket companies, but I haven't been able to find this design.

I can't say, but my initial thought was same as yours. They are very similar except for the valve stem, and some other details.

DOT and SAE marking suggest US construction, matching APP's California HQ.

I can find info on APP and their subsidiary APP Tech; the latter appears to be the primary distribution network. It seems they do offer wheels directly from their CA facility, but I cannot find a catalog of their product. They could be old fashioned, and send you a catalog if you request one over the phone. Wheels are definitely not their main work, they do a lot for aerospace and large-scale industry.

I would call APP, explain what you have and see if they can give a positive identification.

Needless to say I'm intrigued, and interested to see what you find.

Thanks, yeah going to reach out to APP and see if they can identify it as one of theirs.

APP came through! An engineer there recognized the ~15 year old design of the now defunct company RD Sport (Racing Dynamics), specifically it's a C4 model, forged by APP.
