Chrome Wheels

Don't laugh at me for asking this, but were there ever any factory chrome hollow spoke wheels for the 993 tt?

I'm pretty sure there's a fine for asking anything so silly, so just let me know where to pay up...

The factory does not offer or recommend chrome wheels. However, they did offer a polished look wheel on the 993 Turbo S.

Being a TT newbie, I just want to make sure I'm not getting screwed too bad trading in my scratched chrome 993 hollow spokes on a set of 04 hollow spokes.

Tour18, you didn't get screwed at all. In fact consider yourself lucky..

Ended up writing off the entire set of wheels ( and eating the cost..

). Didn't want to have that on my conscience in case one of the rims decided to blow up on somebody if I sold them.
