Default HRE Wheels | R101 Lightweight VS 991.2 GT3 Factory Wheels + Photoshoot :)

Here at HRE Performance Wheels we are always looking to improve. We are ever evolving bringing new wheel styles to light, but here the R101 Lightweight is among the favorites that we always love to see. Our R101 Lightweight design takes our standard R101 Wheel and we remove more weight where possible, making it weight specific to each model that the wheels are ordered for. The amount of weight removal will vary from vehicle application to vehicle application as it's based on the vehicle's required load rating as well as other factors which can alter the amount of mass we want in a wheel to remain durable. These wheels are intended to be as light as possible to give you the most performance, so without further ado, if you're interested to see how much weight we can remove off your factory 991.2 GT3 wheels, take a look and see for yourself.

Not only would you receive a set of wheels that are insanely light weight, but you have the added benefit of having it look like this once it's fully installed. Absolutely drop dead gorgeous! Thank you to TAG Motorsports for taking pictures and recording all the wheel weights from factory, and also taking some lovely photos which I can share with you now:

Thanks for taking a look!

If there are 991.2 GT3 owners looking to set their car apart from the others (both in looks & on the track) then there is one perfect solution to accomplish both those goals: HRE R101 Lightweights. The “LW’s” come in 19”, 20”, or 21” sizes and are offered in a variety of different Gloss, Satin, Stone, Brushed, & Polished finishes. In addition to customizing your wheels to the way you want them you also gain a huge performance boost. That is because the R101 LW’s weigh in at 17.0 & 20.8 lbs respectively with the 20” fitment saving this customer (and fellow forum user) almost 25 pounds over the OEM wheels. Four colors on one factory wheel style shouldn’t be acceptable – this is one modification that every GT3 owner should consider.

Wheel Specs:
HRE R101 Lightweight
Size: 20”x9” // 20”x12”
Finish: Satin Black
Tires: Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2
Front: 245/35/20
Rear: 305/30/20
