Use wheels from Gen 1 Panamera as winters on Gen 2?

Posted this in the Panamera forum and didn't get any answers, so I thought I'd try here...

Just bought a 2018 Panamera 4S (but haven't taken delivery yet). I have an extra set of OEM 20" 911 Turbo II rims from my former 2012 Panamera 4 that I'd like to use as winter wheels. TireRack shows that standard tire sizes for 2018 (971)'s with 20" wheels are Front: 275/40-20, Rear: 315/35-20 while 2012 (970) Panameras with 20" wheels were: Front: 255/40-20, Rear: 285/35-20. I thought the rim sizes were the same on both (20x9.5 in front and 20x10.5 rear), but I could be wrong. Will the older wheels fit my 2018? Are the TPMS sensors compatible, or will I need new ones?

Did you ever figure out if your 970.1 wheels will fit you 971?

If I had a brand, stinkin' new (starts at) $103,000 car, I don't think there's any way I'd be driving it in winter weather in upstate NY. So far out of my price range, I can only imagine. With all your spare pocket change (Mr Trump's tax cut) I think I'd be looking at a fairly new A4, a Subaru, a manly Jeep, or (god forbid!) a SUV. Save the new car for nice weather--out of the salt, the fubar drivers in $2000 beaters, and ice and snow. 4wd is really nice in bad weather conditions.
