Hi I have a 987.2 Cayman Base with 235/40R 18 sized tires on front and 265/40R 18 sized tires at the back. I saw a set of Porsche wheels with exactly the same sized tires and jumped on them, only to find out that they came of off a Carrera. Front wheels fit but rears do not due to difference in offset. Is using spacers less of an issue given wheels are exactly the same (265/40R 18) but with different offsets (Cayman offset 43 vs Carrera wheels offset 60)? I believe the wheels came out of a 997 as I think they are the only ones having same size as Caymans, thus 60 offset.
