I am a new 987 owner, picked up a 2006 Boxster with 9000 Miles. Purchasing Avante Ruger Mesh wheels. Car is Black . I like the black wheels, but wonder if it is too much black? The silver give it a nice blend but wonder if it looks too stock in silver. But they do look classier in silver??
What to do??

If I purchased the black, then the side snorkels should be painted black as well...

Opinions?

If you want to have a stealth-looking Boxster then choose black. I personally like the look of the silver contrasting with the black body paint.

I prefer an anthracite or gunmetal finish to black. It's not silver, but it provides a bit of stealth without looking washed out. A machined or polished lip provides a nice contrast.

I like bronze wheels on black cars. You will never see yourself at a stoplight that way either. I did this recently on my Vette.

Silver or GOLD...the contrast looks sooo good. Black on black is so played out IMO. I used to have it myself.
