You missed Cloverdale Rd, one of the best driving roads out there by Pescadero. Starts just a bit east of Pecsdero, and ends at Highway 1 next to the Highway #1 Brewery, good lunch stop. We were out there yesterday in the 993, from Half Moon Bay, to Pescadero then on to Santa Cruz.

Highway 1 Brewery is good, beers and burgers in the back yard, hope they open back up on weekdays, it's a great less crowded destination after a stop off Alice's. We had lunch at the Miramar Half Moon Bay, not crowded compared to the places like Sams Chowder House. Then to Pescadero to get a berry pie at Duarte's and on south to Sant Cruz, went from 55 and drippy fog to 80 and sunny.
Of course there is always Applejacks in La Honda on weekends, unique dive bar the many seem to be afraid to go into, parking is an issue on some weekends, but there are close by spots. Great music, the grill is always going, patio out back and front porch, with good drinks, weekends they open at 10am with grill about noon, 3pm on weekdays, food about 5pm. A legendary area, such as the Ken Kesey, Merry Pranksters, and the Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test
