New to SF Bay Area - Carlsen or Rector Porsche for service?

Hey folks, new to the SF Peninsula area and wanted to get any recommendations/experiences you've had with Carlsen or Rector Porsche for service? I've got an '15 911S and '14 Cayenne Turbo S that I need to bring in for service at some point. Any thoughts appreciated - feel free to PM if you want to share any confidential feedback. Thanks a ton!

+1 on Fremont. Further for me, but that's where I go.

anyone have a nice service adviser they recommend at either of these places?

Gunter Feldmeier at Fremont.

I have taken my car to Rector once. I had a good experience with the service adviser but didn't love the place overall. Not to mention it's a painful drive from the south bay. I was thinking about trying Stevens Creek Porsche next time but maybe I should give Fremont a shot.

Gunther is the service manager at Fremont. You will usually get one of the junior service writers there, which is fine. See Gunther directly if it is something needing special attention. As a whole shop under his management they are totally competent.

At Sonnen, I use Russell Fong who is excellent. Other service writers are also good. Andrew Ratto is the service manager there, who is also terrific if needed. The service writers at Sonnen are experienced, long timers, so shouldn't need Andrew on most items.

Good experiences over the years with Sonnen, Carlsen and Stevens Creek.

Buying my car from Carlsen but seems like people prefer Fremont for service. Thanks for the intel.

My buddy just went to fremont. It was $1300 to fix a door lock. Actual price went up to $1600 but they discounted the job

Sonnen is my #1

I'm not seeing much love for Steven's Creek in this thread. I'm in the South Bay so Sonnen isn't happening. I took my car to Rector once but wasn't wild about them and the drive there and back took me two hours in traffic. Maybe I should give Fremont a try.
