First time I've ever been told by a LEO to go fast!! On my way for a morning cruise down Skyline Blvd to Alice's and beyond, had to cross Hwy 1 in the middle of bicyclists competing in a local triathlon. The cop held me until there was a slight break in the caravan of bicyclists. With a smile on his face, he asked if I could go fast when he gave me the word. I said certainly, and screamed across when he pointed me on!! I'm sure he enjoyed it, too.

I would have thought it was one of those too good to be true moments. "Go fast.... and my partner is right up the road." Great story!

A cop asks a man in a 911 if he can go fast? Yeah, I think we got that covered officer!

Great story Joe!

Wayne & I ran into the local West Marin CHP last week in Nicasio and spent 20 minutes chatting while wishing him well in his impending retirement (getting a bit envious of you guys!)

Wayne & I never were unfortunate to meet him before in his official duty -- although my wife was ticketed for speeding once -- I 'll never forget the night I came home and she said "I met William today." WTF is William I thought and she handed me the citation.

I told William what Susan said when she got home and he chuckled as one of his twice cited young ladies drives up. He says I got her twice and you should have seen the cold-shoulder she gave him...loved her attitude and mentioned it to him, which put a big smile (again) on his face.

Good times playing cat and mouse -- couldn't have been successful without my Escort...
