I was out early at 7am, very quiet and took advantage, got back home, enjoyed breakfast and out again. Hope to get some time on Sunday as well.

4 of us, so far, are meeting at the Vista Point at Skyline and 92 for a drive. About 9. If you're interested PM me. Final plan to be set tomorrow.

Just FYI, I was up there for a drive a couple of days ago and long stretches of Skyline are not in great shape. Parts of it have been repaved recently but other parts seem to be in transition and are very bumpy. At least this was the case for a few mile stretch south of the 9/35 intersection. Other parts may be fine.

I noticed quite a bit of debris last weekend as well on Skyline and La Honda. Lots of small rocks knocked down after the rain. Hopefully a bit better this weekend, optimist!!

Anyone checking in here, bright and early New Year's Day? FYI, 7 of us are meeting for a 10 AM departure from the Vista Point at Hwy 92 and Skyline Blvd (upper 35).

Yup, it appears so. I was driving my Cayman R and after a few minutes of feeling like a human milkshake I made a U-turn and called it a day.

Drive down Skyline today from 92 to 9, only a very short stretch of road that was not in good to excellent condition. Looks like they've been working hard on it. And what wasn't real good, was only marginally not good.

Needed my camera today, forgot it. We stopped at the Vista Point at the intersection of Skyline and Hwy 9 to regroup. While stretching our legs, a rolling car show came up from Saratoga, a drive sponsored by Club Sportiva (rents high-end cars). I was told they had about 50 cars, Porsches (incl. new GT3RSes), Ferraris, Astons, GT-Rs, Jags, ... You get the idea. They pulled into the Vista Point, but couldn't all fit, so, we got a show of these testosterone filled cars taking off from the stop sign there. Screamed up the hill, all of them!!!

On a drive today we came across the aftermath of an incident on 84 past Skyline heading towards Hwy 1. A Porsche had just been loaded onto a flat bed with significant front impact damage.
Hope the driver/passenger in that car are ok.

Might have been one of the gang I note above. They were heading down Skyline to Alice's then to Half Moon Bay. Likely, they were taking 84 to HMB. Seemed like some less than sensible drivers, but, of course, in my mature years, I am now much more sensible.

Default Did a coast drive yesterday with a couple of friends

Not bad at all
Did 84 to 1 and then Pescadero. Then, had a quick lunch in town, and even stopped at church
Then Pescadero back to La Honda to Alice's
