Jonas, sorry to hear that. Wish I had the bucks, I'd buy her, she's a ringer for my '85, but with more power!

Devia, i would love it if you had the cash to buy her... I know how much you have been lookin for this color... I'll tell the next owner that when he decides to sell her to look you up and put your name at the top of the list... Hopefully you'll have more $$$ then!!!
Best of luck to all of you on your belts!!!

So you will buy a new car. New car payments are over $300 per month. Add another plus $100 for the increase in insurance. That's $400 per month. If you put half of this monthly into either maintaining your car and a savings account when you don't have costs then you will be money ahead.
I'll keep mine. I figure it's cost me less than $1,000 per year for the almost twenty years I've had it. This includes the purchase price.

Jonas, I'm pointing out that the cost of a car, any car, has to be considered when one examins their expenses. That BMW may have a workable back seat but could be as expensive to maintain as the 944S.
If I were forced to trade my 944 for any car the car would be my old 55 Chevy two door wagon. What memories that bench seat brings back!

Tools: I will bring most of what I have that fits the 944's including a low profile floor jack and two jack stands. Also a couple of short boards to put under the jackstands so they don't sink into the pavement.
Will also bring a few tools that have saved my behind a few times.
Wish I had a compressor and hose to bring.
