Default Mechanic in Oregon

Hi all,

I'm looking for a mechanic for my 1983 928.

I live on the coast, but I regularly travel through Portland, Salem and Eugene.

Thanks for any help.

Hrmmm, I'm not certain where to recommend for your 928, it seems most all shops I know in the PDX area don't offer services on them anymore. You might want to try Kurt at Marque Motors or Ed at Heckmann/Thiemann.

Not yet. I used a mechanic in tillamook, but he failed to correctly diagnose my starting issue and cost $700 in unnecessary parts.

Thanks for the reply. I actually just sold the car. Just bit off more than I could chew. I will own one again, but next time I will pony up and pay for a high quality 928. I'm just chalking it up to an expensive lesson learned.
