For your consideration - Los Angeles area
Car Show - Friday Nights starting @ 5pm. Bob's Big Boy (4211 W Riverside Dr, Burbank, CA 91505.) Always lots of different cars, it's never the same. Leno will show up sometimes with a cool ride.
Sunday Morning - Newcomb's Ranch on Angeles Crest Hwy (Hwy 2 North exit from 210 Fwy.) You'll probably see the local car clubs in the larger parking lots on the way up.
