Watching the GT race at VIR. I love how right after Doug Fehan does a spot talking about how amazing the corvettes are they go back to live racing and the corvette is gliding out of power and having to recycle as the field flies by.

Does anyone here attend supercar sundays in WH in the valley? I've been to one but I got there late and it looked small, mostly american muscle types. How is the turnout usually?

I go must Sundays. Normally there is a good if not great turn out of Euro cars.
The Pcar crowd shows up around 8AM.
They stay till 10 or so then go to breakfast or drive Mulholland .
Sometimes the drive wins , sometimes breakfast wins

For all you USC fans here is the car for you. It's on the other coast but I am sure shipping isn't bad.

Can someone tell me the right road to take to do Palomar Mnt. When going to Julian this is our usual route. Or is there a better route?

From Temecula, exit I-15 on Highway 79/Temecula Parkway and head towards the Pechanga casino. Pass by the casino and the road will turn into Pala-Temecula Road, narrowing down and driving through a scenic canyon eventually bringing you to Highway 76.
When going east on Highway 76, make the left onto E. Grade Road up to the Palomar Observatory. World class twisties here. Watch for crotch rockets and hard core road cyclists. When you get to the top of the hill, turn right onto S. Grade road which will lead you back down to Highway 76 again (the motorcycle guys call this "the fast side". Optionally, you can go left at the top of E. Grade road and continue another 5 miles out-and-back to the Palomar Observatory, with the 200-inch Hale Telescope. Makes for a cool hike/break to all the driving action.
Once you get back to Highway 76 at the bottom of S. Grade Road, turn left and look for Mesa Grande Road which will be on your right after a couple miles. Mesa Grande is an absolute treat, starting out with tight twisties that eventually unwind into wide open stretches where, in theory, you could reach triple digit speeds (not that I would EVER condone such a thing).
At the end of Mesa Grande, turn right onto Highway 79. After a mile or two you'll make a left onto Highway 78 and start climbing up towards Julian. One last bit of twisties before Julian: Make a left on Wynola Rd:
On your way back, consider taking Highway 79 through Aguanga back to Temecula. Nice, wide open stretches. If you really have a lot of time, you could also take Highway 78 east from Julian down the mountain into the desert towards Borrego Springs. Then climb back out up S22/Montezuma Valley Road towards Highway 79 and Warner Springs.
