It was great to meet everyone, and David did a great job organizing. Lets do this again when Skyline is not being repaved, and there isn't a fatal accident on Hwy 1. Sheesh. What great cars and nice people!

Great drive despite the detour, I enjoyed meeting everyone today and I apologize to anyone whose name I screwed up, or forgot!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend folks, and I hope to see you at the next one.

Unfortunately I did not make it to lunch because my right rear tire blew out while driving on Page Mill Rd. I heard this loud pop and TPM immediately warned me that my right rear tire is 32 PSI below normal, which, according my calculation, would make it exactly zero! I stopped the car and checked the tire, and saw this gash on the side wall. I called AAA for a flatbed tow truck, and called a local tire shop to see if they carry the tire of the same size and brand. Fortunately, they do and I had my car towed there.

It costs more than a 2-day DE for me....oh well.

Henry,
That really sucks. I'm so sorry. But... what a great car you have. It will soon be good as new.

Thanks everyone for braving the weather and endearing through the construction roads. Your company really made the day.

Henry, I'm glad a tire shop was able to get you back on the road. It happens a lot on narrow roads. AAA is a great investment indeed. I see you have a small curb rash. I got a mobile body repair guy if you like to get that fixed.

Here are some pictures that I took. Again, many thanks for everyone being a trooper. Look forward to the next meet. I will be going to the Diablo Porsche Club drive on 11/10 if anyone is interested. Roads will be similar and newly paved by then

Thanks, everyone. David, if you could give me the phone number of the mobile repair, that would be great, thanks.

David, I think you mentioned that PCA Diablo Region is having a drive Saturday 11/10. I don't find it on their calendar, but do know Golden Gate Region is having one that same day. The route is very similar to what we did.
