PPI in San Francisco

I'm looking for recommendations for a good independent mechanic that can do a comprehensive PPI in the SF area.

Alternatively, can anyone recommend a good dealership in the area?

Can you be more specific as to where in the area? Where is the car located?

The car is near the North Beach area.

So, in SF itself. I don't know of any in town. Most solid indies are in the South Bay. Suggest you post in the GT3 forum. There are a few guys who live in the city who may be able to help.

I don't have any good recs in the city either. Maybe try Cars Dwidiyak? If the seller is willing to take the car out of the city I'd recommend Marvin at The Rennshop in Santa Clara. You could also try S Car Go in San Rafael.

see thorsten at dwidiyak. he was a master tech at Sonnen Porsche

See Gary at Vanguard in soma, most of the city GT3 owners go there (and they are not on this www site either)

Just wondering, is there any 'specific list' PPI looked for? Is it similar to those 100 point inspection dealer promotes on their used cars?

Also I called around and seems like price ranges widely, can anyone advise what is the reasonable price and list I should expect?

Is there any favorite indies you could recommend in South Bay? I called up a few and seems like many of them don't even issue inspection report or warranty/guarantee. Maybe I call up the wrong guys...

Not specifically for a PPI. Just know of Sharwerks and Kirberg Motors by reputation, and have used TC Design for my work.
