Default anyone drive their C4/C4S to tahoe in winter?

From searching the 996 forum it seems plenty of northwesterners have C4 and C4S and it seems to handle the snow fine, I just wanted to see if there are any people that live in moderate weather zones (like ca) but go skiing where it might snow. How does the C4/C4S do up 80 and around the tahoe truckee area?

thanks

I havn't made the trek in my 993 Twin up to Tahoe, but I have driven it up to Big Bear with snow on the ground and it did just fine. The only thing I had to worry about was the clearance on the front spoiler, with the snow buildup and stuff. But if you are stock you should be fine.... Hope that helps...

I used to drive my '92 C4 to our house in Reno quite often, and that included trips to the various ski resorts. It was a lowered car and worked quite well. Had 17" P700's or 7000's (can't remember). Even took it to Utah for a Christmas trip, and had the most intense snowstorm coming back through what seemed like all of Nevada. Kinda wondered what my RSA would have been like in those same conditions!

Biggest issue is all the sand. Basically rock pitted a nice windshield to death in the one winter we used the car most.
