Question 2005 997 w/ 80k or 2001/02 996 w/ 60k

Hello all,

So I have a question I would love opinions on. I am looking for a DD 911 Cabriolet. I have never owned a Porsche before, but have been looking at them for some time(2 yrs). I have finally gotten up the nerve to buy one and here are my parameters

Under 30k
Cabriolet
Able to drive it 10k a year without it stranding me or requiring a major component replaced (transmission, engine), maintenance, even expensive maintenance is fine (I have owned BMWs, so I know what that is like)

So here is what I have found:
IMS/RMS is a thing and I should probably replace it, or get a car that has it replaced/fixed
I can get a 01 C4 Cabriolet w/ 67k & 8 owners, no hardtop for 18k, but probably much less, maybe 15-16k.
I can get a 02 C2, w/59k &4 owners, no hardtop for 23k, no less
I can also get a 05 997 C2 around 30k w/ 80k miles w 3 owners

I won't track it, I have enough cash to maintain an expensive car, but don't want to buy a money pit. Please don't tell me to get a coupe, I want a Cabriolet.

Convince me into or out of any of the above, or just tell me to forget about it and wait another 10 years until I can get a CPO.

Thanks in advance for your help.
