Detailer recommendation in Los Angeles/Hollywood?
 

It seems the vast majority of detailers I see on the forum are way down south like Orange County or close to. Anyone have a spot they really like in LA (east or west), Hollywood, or the Valley?

You're the second person to say that. Yelp lists them as closed but I'll try calling them.

I am extremely particular and Burles Cooks Jr. from Elite and Exotic is hands down the best. He is cordial and does beautiful work. I recently introduced him to fellow P-car and F-car owner..He was extremely pleased.

His base is in Monrovia (next to Pasadena), but has a well appointed van to accommodate mobile requests.

I can recommend Private Collection Auto Care. Daniel and his team are amazing at what they do. My black 2018 911 GTS was never so shinny!

For international detail, try texting Freddy at 310-666-8542. His shop is at the 405 / santa monica blvd. They are definitely still open, and while they are always busy, he is reasonably priced and does good work.

Alternatively, try Joe at Superior Shine. 626-964-0808 or joe@superiorshine.com. He is mobile. Great guy and super reliable. He can do paint correction, nano coating etc. He preps my cars at delivery and I use him a few times a year for maintenance details

I’ve tried the above recommendations repeatedly, no response. Anyone else have ideas? I’m in West LA but willing to trek down to South Bay or even OC. The gt4 is filthy!

If you want a brick and mortar spot, Lavaggio is as good as a "car wash" gets. I don't consider them a high end detailer but a high end car wash.
Around where I am in Pasadena, it seems a ton of people recommend Superior Shine though.
I plan to use Superior Shine over Lavaggio but I have used Lavaggio for post track details or just semi annual details.
I usually just get the ultimate package. Also, they have a black Friday sale where they offer gift cards at 40% off, which takes the sting out of a $500 car wash.
I am generally happy with their work but I am leaning more towards proper detailers that can do a bit more with a bit more specialized/personal attention.
