SF Bay Area-Auto Paint Shop Recommendation
In the first part of April, I went on a road trip with others to Death Valley. On our third day out (the others had headed home), I got caught in a sandstorm, sustained 50 mph winds. Car got sandblasted.
Long story short, just got it back from a near - complete respray (only engine lid and rear bumper not painted). Absolutely marvelous glass/trim out job. Mirror finish.
I highly recommend this shop, Summit Auto Body in Belmont. Chris Zammit is the owner.

I have some new body parts that need new paint and a bumper to be resprayed.
My painter has retired and sold his business so need to find a new place I can trust to do it right.
Will be paying out of pocket...
Any recommendations for a good painter in the Peninsula or South Bay?

Only getting paint work done. No accident or body work so looking for a good painter. My old guy did really great work and could match anything as I had a few cars go through him over the years and they are all metallics.
My 993 is Zenith Blue which is metallic too and most of it is original paint. As you can imagine after 20 years of daily driving there are scratches and stone pits that can only be addressed via respraying some panels.
I will contact your referrals. Thanks so much.
