New Year 2018 Forum Drive
 

Fellow Enthusiasts,

The New Year is upon us, and what better way to get things started than with a Forum cruise down the California Coast. The idea is to meet Saturday January 13th, 2018 8:00am in the parking lot at the Home Depot off 92 in Foster City/San Mateo.

Depart Home depot at 8:30am and head up 92 to Highway 35 down to Alice’s Restaurant for the 2nd rally point. The caravan should arrive at Alice’s Restaurant around 9:30am and wait for anyone running late. At 10:00am we will depart From Alice’s and head down Hwy 84 to Hwy 1. Down Hwy 1, close to Santa Cruz, there is a nice restaurant called Whale City Bakery & Café in Davenport, CA where we were thinking to stop off for lunch. There is plenty of parking for our cars that can be seen in the link below:

After lunch, we can either head North back up Highway 1 to Highway 92 and finally our separate ways home or some of us may want to head South Down Highway 1 to Santa Cruz to spend the remainder of the afternoon, depending on how the weather turns out to be on the day of.

For those of you with a like mind, this could be the first of many different types of community events in the future i.e. Barbeques, Picnics, Photo shoots, etc. With enough interest, my goal is to expand this into a large, regularly scheduled event :thumbsup2:

Hello Fellas,

Just wanted to confirm with everyone that we are still on for our drive this Saturday the 13th. The weather should be in the low 60s and dry. We are still meeting at Home Depot at 8am and at 9:30am at Alice's Restaurant for the 2nd rally point.

Look forward to seeing everyone there, should be a good turnout of cars!

Just looked at your facebook event, just so you know this is not only a Porsche event. All cars are welcome and there will be mostly BMWs. Just wanted to clear that up incase there was some confusion!

We did not realize another commerical business is behind this, and will not participate. Sorry for the confusion!
