Where will the route take you? I'll be coming from the Santa Cruz Mountains and it may make more sense for me to meet you there if that's where you're going anyway?

Our intern is testing the route today (traffic, road condition etc.), but it will likely be down 880/17 to Los Gatos then mostly 35 to Alice.

If you need to take 880 from your starting point, I'd instead recommend getting off at Hwy 9 toward Los Gatos. Then take 9 through Monte Sereno to Saratoga, then left to continue on Hwy 9 to 35.
I'd advise against Bear Creek - too bumpy and many construction zones still in place.

Yeah, as Karl noted that section of road will be closed for a while. The washout happened one night when I was driving back home from SJC - both Hwy 17 and Bear Creek were closed too that night

Hi all, thanks to SLVRon's input we tested a route this past weekend that should work. We will pass out the actual driving route on Saturday, but essentially we will be jumping off 17 south early then north on 85 to Saratoga to avoid traffic and closures. See you all at our shop!
